For tests, patients will be informed about any necessary preparations, such as fasting or abstinence. For appointments, apart from arriving on time, you may need to bring:
- A list of your current medications and how much you are taking of each.
- You may bring the bottles or containers with you to your first appointment.
- Medical information and radiology images supplied by your local physician, if requested by Beaver Health. Any forms you were asked to bring with you.
- The name, address and telephone number of the physician who referred you, if applicable.
- Your insurance information, if you have private insurance.

Do I need to schedule an appointment before visiting Beaver Health?

For medical and dental care, scheduling an appointment before traveling to Beaver Health is strongly encouraged. We can't guarantee that you'll be seen if you come without an appointment. For pharmacy care, Over-the-counter services are available for walk-in patients.

You can request your medical records by contacting our office directly. For your convenience, information is also available for download on our Patient Portal, accessible via our website header.

What is the process for receiving test results at Beaver Health?

Most tests and treatments are conducted at Beaver Health. Only a small minority of more invasive tests require transportation to our lab partner or referral centre. Results are usually available within hours by email. Depending on the results, a follow-up consultation with our physicians may be requested.

Is there parking available at your locations?

Yes, we provide complimentary parking for our patients.

Are family members allowed to come to my appointments?

Relatives and friends are welcome and encouraged to accompany you at Beaver Health. Depending on the healthcare specialism involved and the type of procedure and diagnostic test, your family and friends may be asked to remain in the waiting room.

May I bring my children? Is child care offered?

Beaver Health does not offer child care for patients, but you are welcome to bring your children. Please bring a responsible person to watch your children during your appointments.

Is there a referral hospital associated with Beaver Health?

Yes, St Michaels Specialists Hospital (SMSH) is our associated referral partner for advanced care.

Do you have specialists for complex conditions?
