On November 11th, 2023, Beaver Clinic Ltd. proudly participated in a comprehensive Health Outreach event organised by the Hospital Ministry of Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International (FGBMFI) Ghana, in collaboration with the International Sickle Cell Centre and the La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Health Directorate. Held at Manle Tsoeshi in Baukina, La, this outreach aimed to provide vital health services to the community, emphasising holistic wellness and preventive care.

The Health Outreach 2023, which spanned a full day, was designed toaddress a wide range of health needs, offering various screenings,consultations and educational sessions. Beaver Clinic Ltd. played acrucial role in delivering dental care and oral health education tothe attendees.

Beaver Clinic’s contributions included thorough oral health screenings using our portable dental unit chair, identifyingpotential issues and offering professional consultations to attendeesand offering personalised advice and recommendations to helpindividuals maintain and improve their oral health.

We organised educational sessions focused on the importance of goodoral hygiene practices, which included proper brushing and flossingtechniques, the role of diet in oral health and the prevention ofcommon dental issues.

Attendees eagerly received free essential dental products, includingmouthwash to support their oral hygiene routines. These products, aswell as patient information leaflets and other educational materialsabout oral health, were distributed and included tips for maintaininghealthy teeth and gums, as well as information on the servicesoffered by Beaver Clinic. These activities were undertaken toencourage and facilitate good dental care practices at home andfurther Beaver’s message of responsibility and self-care.

Apart from Beaver Clinic’s contributions, many other health care groups partnered with us to offer eye screening, sickle cellscreening, genetic counselling and COVID-19 vaccinations. Nutritionand Psychological Services were also available to the community.

The Health Outreach 2023 was a significant event for the La area,which houses the highest number of people per community in poverty inAccra. The event provided access to essential health services andeducation. Beaver Clinic Ltd. was honoured to contribute to thisinitiative, helping to enhance the health and wellness of theattendees through comprehensive dental care and education.
