Liberty Assemblies of God opened its doors and its medical team stood shoulder‑to‑shoulder with Beaver clinicians for a one‑day clinic in Abeka Lapaz. We started with triage at the church foyer—quick histories, a blood‑pressure check when needed, and an oral exam. From there, attendees moved to a compact treatment setup where our team performed cleanings (including child‑friendly prophylaxis) and urgent extractions when clinically indicated.
The flow was simple: screen → explain → treat or refer. Education was woven into every step, from brushing demos to myth‑busting (bleeding gums aren’t “normal”—they’re a sign to act). The crowd skewed family‑heavy—parents curious about their kids’ first proper cleaning—and mid‑morning brought the biggest surge as worship rehearsals ended and word spread.
Two surprises shaped the day. First, motivated parents: several arrived “just to ask questions,” and left booking follow‑ups after seeing plaque removed in minutes. Second, the power of place: hosting care inside a trusted church setting made first‑time dental visits feel safe, familiar, and dignified.
